Lovely example of a European polecat skull.

Nice clean skull, has some dental pathology in the form of an infected canine that must have broken at one point and allowed infection in leaving it hollow.

There is also a tiny incisor missing and another small tooth behind the canine.

One lower canine is naturally worn also.

It also has unusual pathology in the nasal turbinates and one side seems to be much larger than the other, but all intact.

Skull was processed via maceration and whitened with peroxide.
